Can you help out a local business with a review? Most people don’t recognize the importance of a review. In fact, I’m guilty of not leaving a review for businesses and services that have been exemplary. The same thought always crossed my mind when I decided to not leave a review.
What can a review really do?
A lot. A review can do a lot.
A review has remarkable impacts on local businesses. In fact, there are many ways that reviews improve a business. First of all, reviews make the local businesses visible. Ranking and rating can influence the placement of a business on search engines. As a result, more people are able to see the local business. This leads to more customers and support. Furthermore, reviews give credibility to a business. How many times have you reconsidered going to a place because of bad reviews? I know I have. Reviews are the best way to show that a local business is qualified and high quality.
Reviews provide ‘word-of-mouth’ referrals that can help your favorite local businesses. But where can you leave a review?
Leaving a review is important, but where you post the view can also matter. After all, you want to people to see your experience and opinion. So, where is the best place to put your review? These are a few sites where you should be posting your reviews.

Helped complete packing and moved my household about 20 miles.

It went really well. So well that I don’t know how it could have gone any better. Mex, Jon, and Gene were thoroughly professional and also fun to be around. I’d packed about 70 percent of my household and labeled the boxes as requested in the pre-move planning brochure. Despite the rain, the guys were cheerful and fast. I’m still kind of amazed that we moved me in three hours. I think the use of a third crew member was the key, as I was advised that paying a higher rate for the three-man crew would pay for itself in the overall speed of the move. I think that turned out to be true.
The fact that I could pay by the time unit, rather than by the job, made me want to try Men on the Move and it worked out really well. Some other places I called wanted a lump sum for the job, but without coming out to see my place and my possessions, how could they do a fair estimate? They couldn’t. So I highly recommend Men On The Move, and Mex, Gene, and Jon in particular if you’re lucky enough to get them.

Moved a few pieces of furniture from a house to a 3rd floor apartment with no elevators.

Scheduling was easy. Don and Mike were prompt and got the job done in a timely fashion. We only had a few pieces to move but getting to the 3rd floor apartment via very narrow hallways and stair cases posed a challenge. They worked very hard but were still pleasant at the end. We will definitely use this company again.
