"We make moving easier"

Moving Money Matters

The cost of interstate moves is usually based on the weight of your belongings and the distance they are being shipped, plus packing and any other services that we perform for you.

Estimates

To help you anticipate your moving expense we offer an online request for quotes. There are two types of quotes that you can expect from any moving company: binding or non-binding. The quote that you receive from submission via this site is non-binding. Non-binding estimates are not final. They are the probable amount of your move.

To provide you with a binding estimate we must meet with you at your location. The actual weight of of your belongings or the amount of space that they take up within our moving vans, plus the distance to be moved and any other services provided. To help us provide you with an accurate quote, once we arrive at your current location to make final estimates, be sure to show us everything to be moved. Don't forget to show us anything that is in the closet, the attic, the basement or anywhere else that may be generally out of the way.

Weighing In

Before we load your belongings, we weigh our truck using certified scales. After your shipment is fully loaded on the truck, we will weigh in again. The difference between the two amounts is the net weight of your shipment. In cases where you are being moved on a weight basis, this is the amount that we base our pricing upon.

You are welcome to observe all official weighings. You may also request a reweigh prior to your items being unloaded at their destination. Occasionally a driver will automatically reweigh before delivery when the billed weight is appreciably higher than the estimated weight. By predetermined arrangements, the driver will advise you of the final actual delivery charges.

Payment On Delivery

Before your household goods are delivered and unloaded, please be prepared to pay the driver unless payment have already been made by predetermined arrangements. We can accept payment in cash, certified check, money order or travelers check. If paying in cash, please be aware that our drivers are not allowed provide change.

On interstate shipments, if the billed charges exceed the non-binding written estimate, you are liable for the estimate, plus 10 percent of the balance at the time of delivery. Any amount remaining is to be paid within 30 days. All billing is regulated by federal or local agencies.
